Labeling Law

Why we need state legislation to list the solvents dry cleaners use and the hazardous waste their solvents generate

1) Everyone should know which solvent is used to dry clean their clothes. The approved State list is to the right –>

2) All dry cleaning solvents create hazardous waste in the form of filters and residue. Here is what the hazardous wastes look like.

3) We have labels for everything. Your dry cleaner should tell you which solvent they are using and what kind of hazardous waste their solvent is creating.

4) When you go to a dry cleaner do they tell you they clean your clothes with a glycol either & it creates two types of hazardous waste… or do they tell you they are Eco Friendly?
